Playing TOC St Andrews

We played last year (6 times in 4 days in fact). If anyone needs any info on Lofoten, give me a shout.

I think that's on the list for next year!

And, back on the thread, take it from this old git, you need to play ToC at least once in your life. For similar reason as a cricketer needs to play at Lords (done that) or a footballer at Wembley (never got near that!)

I was on a trip to Edinburgh last week for a couple of days, over from Ireland.
Decided to take a trip out to St Andrews to see the place. Got totally sucked in by the town and everything around there.
Took a walking tour of the course, found it excellent. Visited the World Golf Museum. Went for my lunch in the Dunvegan.
To see all these places I'd heard about or seen on tv was brilliant.
I'd never felt a big desire before to play the old course but I'd certainly like to get back there and play it after last week.

My mate, a "serial Old Course Denier" went through that epiphany!

A couple of days in the Auld Grey Toon and he was itching to play it!
