Not to bothered if you like or dislike him, in regards to putting I was just watching him and saw him put ball down, then bend down behind ball, hold the putter shaft at a angle, look at shaft, move hands further up,if not happy move ball and start again. This was on the 12th.

Can someone explain what he is doing please?

Golf needs some likeable characters, big time.
Thing is though they are at work .
They are there to win .
I never met many likeable characters at work .
But you are correct the juniors need someone to look up to.
Nice touch from J Thomas to invite the young lad and his brother as his guest in Mexico.
They are there maybe it needs advertising a bit more.

Yeah, I appreciate that - and the stakes are high of course, espcially these days.

I remember looking up to Seve when I was a kid, and then Faldo, plus a few others. My lad probably sees Rory has an icon of the game now but he doesn't seem to have the same appeal as the players did when I was a kid.
The exception of course is when they play in The Ryder Cup, and they display immense emotion as they battle to win.
