Bought some MP53s today

£500 plus my old X14s from American Golf. Anyone think its an ok deal?
Thought just sod it in the end!

Been on the mizuno forum and they're a bit dubious ive been ripped

I looked at MP53's a few weeks ago and the set, fully custom fitted would have been £514 from my pro (if I remember correctly).

Too late now to worry, go and enjoy your new bats

Just had a look and x14's are going for about £150 2nd hand and mp53's you can pick up for around £550 or less for custom fit so i reckon you may not have got the best of deals to be honest. But at the end of the day if you hit them well and you like them the price of them dosent matter.

Probably not a great deal monetary wise but a cracking set of irons so forget the impact on the wallet and go and play great golf with them

im no fan of the american pro shops, and im sorry to say i think you have been had... If you have not yet used them then return them to the shop under your customer rights act.

Get your refund and clubs and sell the clubs on ebay or on here and then buy the mp53's for less else where. will save over £100.00....

I would say this deal sounds about right. You certainly haven't been ripped off.

Snainton are usually a good bet for a decent deal thats honest, they say 650 so maybe not that bad at all! look like nice irons - enjoy using them.

Agree,cheapest deal on ebay is £619 for 8 irons. Just get on with enjoying the clubs.
