Iron sets listed in approximate date order, have played most of them now but some still to be taken onto the course.

I have quite a few woods and putters too but can't be bothered to list those.

Total cost including delivery = £616 (and several sets came with woods, putters, bags etc.)

Can't believe you haven't got a set of Wilson Sam Snead Blue Ridge. My first set was a mixed bag, replaced around about '74 with the Wilson's. £8 an iron.

There's only so much space in the garage or I probably would have.

Although I'm generally only buying UK irons of late, most recent purchase were the John Letters, Fred Daly irons, 2 to 9 plus wedge, approx date 1957 or 58.
The wedge has the bounce of a sand wedge so I'm interested in trialing that one, maybe this evening.

Not to bad i dont think. I tend to buy 2nd hand but as new as possible. Only exception is wedges which were bought new.

I tend to do very well at recouping cash on selling old kit, so although my current bag is circa £1000, its been spend over a number of years. Honestly dont think ive spend more than two grand of real money over the last 10 years and ive had a huge number of different combiations

so as per the signature

driver head only £110 - Ebay
Shaft £70 - Ebay
4 w £110 - Ebay
hybrid £70 - Ebay
irons £280 - Bought from the NW's largest supplier of pre loved golf items - Qwerty :D
wedges £200 - Bought new from AG
putter £80 - Bought on the forum

total is £920 ish (some prices were a rough guess)

If you add up the costs of shoes, bags, cl;othes, Laser, balls etc though....

Christ... thats some wonga

My clubs have mostly been fairly new but used clubs except a couple where I took advantage of the AG double trade in offer a year or so ago.

G driver £165 (facebook group)
G 3 wood trade in at AG (approx £100)
G 5 wood trade in at AG (approx £100)
G hybrid
G30 irons 5 - U wedge £320 (gumtree along with the hybrid above)
Glide 54 & 58 wedges £100 (ex display at local driving range)
Cleveland smart Square putter £35 (Direct Golf)
Sun Mountain C130 cart bag £90 (American Golf)
Motocaddy M1 lite £60 (Refurbished ex Motocaddy)

Even mostly second hand still comes to nearly £1K without shoes, clothing, balls etc.

My daughter plays and I've always got US Kids or Ping junior sets from Gumtree or eBay which haven't really cost much and got good enough prices selling them on. My wife said she would get a full Ping custom fit set as soon as she is large enough for ladies clubs, she nearly fell away when I told her it would set her back at least £1500 just for the clubs :D.

Putter pics

That is a beauty. Love a good Scotty. I've got a Futura, which I'm really happy with and was fitted for but would love to be able to putt well with a blade putter - i'd love a Circle T or a Napa. A guy at my club has a mint Napa which is so nice - looks like this....
