Cleaveland Classic XL about £220 in 2013
Cobra S3 3 wood £60 in 2012
TM Hyrid £115 In 2011
Mizuno MP-57s £200 in 2010
Cleaveland Rotex £120 in 2013
Ping Rewood Zing £180 in 2010
Powakaddy bag (competition winnings) in 2010
Motocaddy S1 Lite 2017

I don’t recall the exact prices so these are a guess, not bought anything for the bag since 2013 and that was just the driver and wedges.

I adore my bag and the clubs in it, the purchase or sale value means nothing to me. These clubs have brought joy, given highs and lows and I even credit them with curing an illness.

I will move on one day from most of these clubs but the putter will stay the longest.

When reading similar threads in the states it makes my eyes water that people are prepared to spend thousands - sometimes tens of thousands on golf clubs - even here several hundred pounds on one club! I think I am tight. I could afford such a bag, but could never bring myself to spend that on golf clubs and I DO love golf.....anyhow..

Ping G30 tour - £130 (new)
Ping G 3 wood - £70 (used)
Callaway X2 hot pro hybrids 16, 18, 20, 23 (carry 2) - £40/50 each (used)
Mizuno JPX825 irons 5-W - £189 (new)
Cleveland 588 RTX 50, 54, 58 - £50 (new)
Odyssey white hot pro 2 ball - £89 (new)

Bag cost £720 for 14 clubs (excluding hybrids I don't carry). Woh....I didn't think it was even that much - but on the plus side I have had most of this bag for 3/4 years. Only the 3 wood and putter has been changed and they cost nothing after selling previous 3 wood and putter.

No chance I am even considering a change. Very happy set up as the putter which took a long time to get one I liked has finally bed in. See myself playing this bag for another 3/4 years at least.

If you have it then why not, if it’s not Golf then it’s holidays, cars, houses, children, food, wine, investments, savings etc. We all have our vices.

Agree with this, don’t think anyone should be judged for what they spend on clubs whether it be equivalent to a deposit on a new house or an entire bag under £100. It is entirely up to the individual.

I shudder to think what my bag is, I’d imagine it’s at the very top of the amounts that’ll be listed here but not sure I want to put it down on paper!! :)
