Hi! For all you experienced runners out there, I'd like to ask, how do I choose a Running shoe from the thousands available online? I need something with good support and cushion but I'm not sure what brand is the best. I have Reebok currently but I've heard good things about Nike. Any advice?

best advice is to go to a well known running shop, or sports shop that offers Gait analysis. They can then recommend shoes that are right for your running style. Pick a pair of these shoes!

Seems like you know. At least the link suggests it :)

I have some brooks and they are awesome. I was running in some cheapo trainers and have just been given the all clear to run again after 4 months out with achilles tendinitis.

Go to a reputable running shop and try as many as you can and make sure you actually run in them and get viewed by someone that knows what they are on about! When i bought mine, i ended up trying about 15 pairs and did 3k in the shop!

Find someone who is spamming forums with a link to a running shoes site?

Mrs S is a very keen runner and swears by Brooks trainers. She reckons they are the best.

Let me know what you choose, then I can go buy some as I can't get round any quicker then 3hrs 45min in a 3ball......
