Yeah. I just call them Paolo Wanchope and Amy Winehouse. So like a 10 & 11 iron?
Makes sense, particularly if they are part of that iron family with same construction etc.

Thank you for reading my post this time.Apologise Mr Thread police! Consider me told and to only look back through threads. Not really sure why it matters where I got the details from![]()
No it doesn't, I don't have any gaps in mine. Maybe having a 64 leaves a gap in your bag, granted.I had 5 wedges, but ditched the 64. 5 wedges just means losing a club elsewhere in the bag leaving gaps.
I've dropped the 64 at this time during the winter........added a hybrid. Neither here nor there......I keep adjusting things.....No it doesn't, I don't have any gaps in mine. Maybe having a 64 leaves a gap in your bag, granted.![]()
You’re a strange one aren’t you not sure why it bothered you so much that I got my info from google and not your post regardless of whether it was a previous one to mine. Really was an irrelevant response and added nothing to thread bit like my pointless reply to you now. I’ll make sure I Read all your posts in triplicate just in case they have relevance even though it wasn’t you I was actually conversing with on the subject. I’ll also tell my dyslexia to only read what you wrote instead of having to double check things for myself when it comes to written words, which is why I’ll often google something for peace of mind and accuracy rather than just quoting previous posters points regardless of whether they’re right or not! It’s also why I’ll often edit a post to correct my own errors in spelling etc!Thank you for reading my post this time.
Post #9 came directly after your post #8. Shame you missed it, but never mind, no harm done.

Or maybe have the lofts on every iron rather than a number. But the marketing folk wouldn't like it!
This for me is the way to go.Or maybe have the lofts on every iron rather than a number. But the marketing folk wouldn't like it!![]()

The odd thing is that I had a 52 vokey wedge and it was a passenger.I've got a PW, 52, 56 and 60-and the 52 just confuses me as to which shot to hit with it. It's coming out of the bag - there's nothing I can't do with that club that I can't do with the PW.
I could sack off the 60 as well and just play the 56 with an open face at a push.
Not everyone, but some, have their irons bent to change lofts. Probably only a degree or 2 but that still throws the numbering off..Or maybe have the lofts on every iron rather than a number. But the marketing folk wouldn't like it!![]()

What's printed/stamped on the sole means nothing to anyone except you and how far you hit it.
You can't even say " I hit a 7 iron, what did you hit" because that 7 iron, as we know, could be 27° or 34° or more....
The number purely indicates where in the set it lies...ie a 7 is between a 6 and an 8...
That's all....
People read too much into so many things.
