Found one of the radiator TRV heads snapped off last night, looking to replace it. Have googled, there are many, seems more than one size. The broken one is a Pegler Terrier, seems two or three different ones with 15mm, 10mm and 8.5mmx1/2" but I don't know which part to measure to see what this one is. If someone can help please?

Also, once I know the right size, can I replace the head for a different make without replacing the angled valve?

Thanks in advance.

What you need to know is the head nut size and you need to know what thread*, I have a mix of valves of different ages from the same company and the nut size on the TRV head is different 25mm on one and 28mm on another, and the depth of the actuactor in the completely off position.

The later can very quite a bit between manufacturers as will the the type of tread uses I have got both coarse and fine threads from different manufacturers.
