3W off the deck.. what a beauty

I struggle hitting my 3wood of the deck. If I have 220+ to go and plenty of space right I'll have a smash at it.

Normally I do better hitting my hybrid and try to get it as close to the green as possible,,,,,,, I still prefer to have space right :-)

I tend not to hit them as it's not part of my game plan.

Ditto... I would rather hit my reliable 4-Hybrid to 180 and then chip on. Hence the 3W was never part of my plan (till this weekend). Our 4th is a straight & long P4. I can never get there in 2 and my avg is 5.5 on that hole. I am still not certain if I will pull it off in a match, but it is nice to have an option.

Anything between 20 yards straight ahead and increasing in distance more and more right up to a max of approximately 250 yards off to the right from its intended target somewhere. I call it my power fade.

when I had my Titleist fitting the other day, my current Titleist 913 was going about 180 - 190yds, the new 915 was 190 - 200yds, which wasn't bad for a frosty night with cold balls. Looking forward to trying the Mizuno 850 and comparing the results.

I would suggest not wearing shots at the range when its cold;)

Rarely hit my G25 3 wood off the deck so it was a bit daunting last week when the Titleist fitter gave me a 3 wood to hit and insisted I bashed it off the mat.. with the cameraman and MikeH watching. Pressure. What pressure? Nailed it. Lovely club (D2) and maybe I need to try harder with my Ping's
