I've played a few of these over the years, always great fun. I tended to look at the card and see what you'd use for the par 3s. I've played 2 club and putter with a 5 iron, 8 iron & putter to good effect. I've also played 3 club & putter with 4, 7, 9 & putter. I can play irons off the tee or off the turf so no restricting myself in any way. Amazing what you can score if you keep it on the short stuff. Always fun to play.
