2 personal bests in one weekend

Hi,

Yesterday was our greenskeepers revenge comp.

Course set up as long and hard as could possibly be, shaved greens, banks etc.

I played with my premium ball for the whole round, never before achieved.

Greenskeepers left the course set up the same for today, they even mowed the greens again today.

Shot 42 points in the roll up and took overall and front nine, never played that well ever.

Even had two blobs in that and a net bogey.

Chuffed to little mint balls to play that well with such a tricky setup, to be truthful though, I did get the bounces and lucky breaks.

Happy days, easy game this golf.

Well done matey. I tend not to worry too much about whether the course has been set up hard or not and try and focus putting the ball in play as much as possible. The powerplay event showed that even hard flags can be tackled and beaten providing you don't overswing or too fast and that you take your time and do the basics right.

It's great to beat a well set up course but to do it two days running is top playing. Excellent work
