It may 'only' have been a midweek Medal qualifier with not a lot of players in it.....who cares!!!..not me....I just went and WON my 1st golf comp. .on only my 3rd club comp and only few weeks after obtaining a handicap.....

Quite simply I am ELATED.

thanks for your nice comments gents.I'm a bit rough this morning

THe cut is 0.4 which I think means I stay at 26 for now?
I played 1 shot under the CSS.My previous 2 comps I was 7 shots over the CSS.Would that explain the cut decision?
I still dont understand this CSS thing properly yet (its different to the course par )

Great scoring - bet you can't stop smiling eh?

CSS is a way of correcting the par of a course for the play and conditions on the day to make any increases or cuts in handicaps fairer.

If the weather was wet and windy the idea is that CSS will be higher and if it was dry and sunny the CSS should be lower.
