I was a member there for a couple of years. The course will probably be very wet and muddy at this time of year. As other have said, 10,11,12, & 13 up in the hills are a bit of a joke and will wreck your card even if you do hit good shots! Possible the most unfriendly club I've ever played...

Dehydration. Drink more before and during.

I have the Ecco Biom 2 Hybrid spikeless and they are the best shoes I've ever worn. Can't recommend them highly enough. Super comfy, waterproof, great grip in the wet or dry.

Brilliant stuff. I literally coat my motorbike in this stuff for the winter.

Struggle on both, really.

The course itself is OK, like others have said, some holes are a bit iffy. It doesn't really have any holes that stand out. The Three Horseshoes about a 1/4 mile up the road is really nice pub though, well worth a visit.

This happened to me in a Medal earlier this year. The NR still rankles.

I think it's the 12 that Oak Park which has the stupid right-to-left sloping fairway that you can never hold (the 11th has the blind shot to the green at the bottom of the hill) Four silly holes that don't suit the rest of the course at all.

If I'm teeing off at 11:30 a beer at 11:00 "feels right"!
