YouTube rant.

If I watch youtube through my pc browser (which has adblock running on it), then the ads don't play.
Sadly, I haven't got round to trying out various blockers on the Telly to see if the same thing happens. I'm not sure if the Tv (or firestick) browsers are clever enough to run decent adblocking software.
I have ad block on my PC but even after checking youtube was set up on it I am still seeing the adverts at the start of every video (Crossfield, Finch et al)

I’m slightly more annoyed that I can’t pay for what I want to pay for. In the States there’s premium lite (without music) tier which is a good buy. But here in UK we can only get free or premium (with music) and it costs a lot more.

I’ve been hoping that with the increased ads they’d start offering premium lite here too but sadly it seems not yet.

I've just been got by Youtube for ads using Firefox, even with adguard.

I've now switched to the 'Edge' browser which is seems to be back to normal with no ads.....for now.

There are ways around this. Use a VPN to buy a subscription via another country, a lot of people use India or Turkey, where it's considerably cheaper. Have a search for it via google, there's plenty of tutorials out there.
