you're most feared shot?

Not a great bunker player although did hit a fairway bunker from about 150 yards yesterday into the heart of the green which was satisfying. I've seemed to have developed a particularly good trick shot and seem to have a lot of double hits out of greenside bunkers lately usually putting the ball back into the sand again. Not sure why

Chip over bunker to a close pin.

Usually results in the next most feared which is the same as above, the green side bunker.

After that it's any shot out of heavy rough.

The mid-short iron cut. Always hit it straight left, to the point where I'd rather sling a massive hook around the harder side of the tree! I can do them.

3-4 footers....

For me, the harder the shot is the less I fear it... It's the ones that you expect to make/hit close that scare the crap out of me!!

sounds like you need to veiw Phil Mickleson bunker shots on youtube ............helped me loads ! unfortunately i cant say the same for fairway bunker shots :D

At the moment it's the lob shot.

It would be any shot with a driver in my hands but the driver's safely tucked in the cupboard......

Dont fear any shot.........the odd socket has cost me dear this season tho.
Same here until I stood yesterday and hit shot after shot into a net at the club, easiest fix was to keep the right arm close to the body to prevent the hossle getting closer to the ball than it needs to be. Went out onto the course for the medal and didnt even get close to a sherman. Fingers crossed for the Club Champs in a fortnight.

Any iron shot longer than an 8 at the moment gives me the shivers.
Fats, shanks, thins...totally lacking confidence.
Yesterday's medal saw me shoot 20 :D over handicap.
Today in the roll up I went out with driver, hybrid,9 iron, PW, SW and putter all in a pencil bag and played to H/C.
Nuts

I've done similar where I've took only 3 iron to putter out, left all woods at home and shot to handicap. Ive done it twice now which for me identifies how important finding fairways off the tee really is!

The 3 foot putt for par after making green in regulation. Just can't seem to hole them at the moment.

Interesting that so many people fear sand. I'd rather be in a bunker than chipping over one. I hate it when my ball pulls up just short of a bunker and one of my playing partners says "That was lucky".

Having said that the down hill bunker lie, you know the one where it just rolls into the back of the bunker, that is a nasty one.
