Your questions for Secret Tour Pro

Phil, I know you love to debate, but I'm afraid you're wrong on this one.

I didn't have to look far to find glaring inconsistencies that reveal the truth.

If you want an insight into life on tour ask any of the hundreds/thousands of golfers that can give it to you. Asking this fake account would be deceiving readers - you might as well ask my cat.

Can you please provide the proof that this is a fake account then

Please post the "truth"

GM has for most of its history been a paper publication. Its in a situation where that is less relevant as magazines (and papers for that matter) are dieing out. As such they need to be attention seeking themselves to survive. There own social media to date has been pretty poor and they have clearly had a good look at it and come up with collaborations with the likes of Rick and Pete and in this case make alliances or spark interest with something topical on Twitter. Seems smart to me.

Agree that GM are doing well to adapt to the new direction of media publications.

There are plenty of deserving collaborations out there that could be done in a similar vein to Rick Sheils.

This chap/chapette pretending on Twitter to be someone they're not isn't one of them.

Not my magazine but it'd be a shame to see GM lose integrity over this.

Does this mean that GM know who it is?

I started following the account the other day and so far all it is just people trying to guess who it is, and them saying "no". Hope it gets better!

I'd argue, GM knows better than you.... they have access to all tour pros/caddies/manufacturers

There is no good reason to believe anything anyone tells you in this sport/pass time. In my opinion more lies and misdirection are told by more outlets in the golf industry than anything else on earth... more then garages, dentists, car salesmen (sorry Smilffy) and estate agents.

In many situations GM are told what to show and what to say by manufactures who routinely make up words to sell you product... The Daily Mail is one of the most read (looked at) websites in the world (8th) and they make it up as they go along.

Its not a game of who is trustworthy, its a game of who is noisy!

What was the real reason behind Dustin Johnson's sabbatical?
Have you ever witnessed a fellow pro cheating during a round?
Which event provides the best hospitality for the players?

Would love an answer to the first question.......... !!

Do you shout fore when you smack one at the crowd, or do you hope that someone will stop your ball going into deeper trouble ?

I have trouble in believing the account is real, however Mike and GM would hardly be naive enough to set up an interview with someone without finding out who it was first, so it must be true

My trouble with the account was that the photos he posted all seemed to be unoriginal (taken from another account) or really badly photoshopped

 correct sir.

People can be easily taken in - it's no reflection on themselves but it happens. Gosh, I know a decent chap that gave his savings to a fraudster. Very sad really.

It's much more exciting to believe there is a touring pro spilling the beans than just another mere mortal making it up.

Still waiting for the proof that he isn't a tour golfer ?
