Have been looking for a good forum to join. On my search I found an obscure one at golfclubshaftreview.com it is about your longest driver ever, it goes a bit off topic though. Anyway, I am going to steal that topic and ask "what was your longest driver ever?" Mine was on a 490 something yard par 5 on a windy day. driver and 8 iron to the green.

Which means nothing dependent on how far you hit your 8 iron.

Oh dear, another willy waving question :smirk:

Another member measuring thread haven't had one of those for a few hours surely.

I don't actually know how long my longest ever drive was or care to be honest. I tend to prefer to worry about how straight it is now how long it is.

out of interest how far did you hit the 8 iron if its less than forum average of 220yds  then its still not long enough

Maybe just maybe you should take the number of posts and the join date into consideration before ye all slag off a question eh ?

A newbie comes on not aware of the goings on here and gets replys like that ? surely we are better than that on here ?

MrMr welcome along as you can tell distance is or at least can be a sensitive issue on here ,

Arthur! He was the families Driver for 6 years, Papa said he could go all night, Mama said the same but I never knew what she meant:whistle:

I had one at around 45.5" but had it cut to 43" and it seems to work better for me

I think mine was a Ping G5 something like 45 inches, my Mizuno is 44, i'd have to measure my new Callaway...

just did and its 45.75..

so the answer my friend is 45.75;)

I was going to say Yorkshire to Cornwall, feel a bit silly now with my 6hr trip:o

6 hrs - bloody luxury..

Penzance to Aylesbury - supposedly 5 hrs 37 minutes according to Route Planner

8 1/2 sodding hours!!!
Took 2 hours to get out of Cornwall, another hour to Exeter then 5 1/2 hours for a 3 hour trip....

That's my longest!
