Here's my four 'predictions' for 2012.

Luke will win 2 tournaments but not a Major this year unfortunately.

Ricky Fowler will win his first tournament and be in contention for the Masters.

Tiger will win a Major this year, but blow hot and cold with the other tournaments.

Lee Westwood will win the 'Open'

..over to you

Might as well predict the four major winners so here goes:
Masters KJ Choi
US Open Rory Mcilroy
Open Dustin Johnson
PGA Jason Day

Cannot see Donald or Westwood (in terms of majors) doing any more than Kite who won one and only one, late on in his career.

Donald will Win a couple but will lose the no 1 spot to mcilroy who will take the masters and the us open. The open will be taken by tiger and the PGA by D Johnson. Big season for poulter and fowler. But the biggie, the real biggie, the rider cup will be taken back by the yanks.

My prediction is that Tiger will have the comeback a lot of people are hoping for... winning the Masters, and more or less contending in the others.

Luke will have another solid year, culminating by winning the US PGA.

Lee will have another disappointing year tanking yet again on a Major... but winning 3 tornaments nevertheless.

The US Open will be won by a quality player, such as Scott, Dustin, etc.

And the Open will be won by a nobody due to the bad weather conditions... making it a lottery.

Luke for the Masters.
Fowler to win on Tour but not a Major
Tiger to have the comeback a lot are hoping for - ie none!
Rory to run DJohnson close for the US Open
Luke to triumph at Wentworth again
One of Choi, Stricker, Mahan or Bubba for the Open
Rory or Leeor Jason Day for the PGA
Europe to spank the Yanks in Chigaco!

You heard it here first - well some of it

Jason Day is a good shout, he could win a major as could fellow aussie Adam Scott
Mcilroy of course and Donald

Can't see the yanks winning much

My 4 picks for wins this year, not specifically majors

Rory - continue his form
Jason Day - time to break through
Luke - continue his form
Ryo Ishikawa - wildcard to come good in the US

Masters: Aaron Baddeley
US Open: Nick Watney
Open: John Senden
USPGA: Sergio Garcia

And if all those fail, if any Brit wins a major this year, it'll be Poulter.... no idea why, just a feeling. He finished the year with a win in Oz and needs a big season. Plus it's a Ryder Cup Year.

Luke Donald to win the Masters, current champ Schwartzel to miss the cut.

Ian Poulter to finish top 3 in the US Open which will be won by Ricky Fowler for his first PGA tour win, Rory McIlroy will finish top 10.

Tiger Woods to finish top 3 in the Open which will be won by Lee Westwood, Darren Clarke to miss the cut.

The USPGA will be won by Sergio Garcia with Keegan Bradley missing the cut.

Donald to consolodate his position as no 1 in the OWGR and Europe to retain the Ryder cup with it finishing 14-14 in Medinah. Good seasons again from Dustin Johnson, Jason Day and Matt Kuchar. Adam Scott to do very little and Rory to win again on the PGA tour, Casey also to get a win in the US.

A bit more than 4 picks, sorry

As well as Luke and rory hitting the highs; Westwood, Garcia, Poulter and Casey have finished 2011 in good form so I would like to think we will see them in the running:

Masters: Luke
US Open: Rory
Open: Westwood
USPGA: Sergio Garcia
Ryder Cup : Europe to retain it on USA home soil - that will smart a bit for the Yanks

Poults and Casey to grab a couple of tournament wins early on to secure Ryder Cup places

....................well you can dream can't you?

US Masters: Tiger

US Open: Rory

The Open: Luke Donald

US PGA: Lee Westwood

I hope these 4 will be in the mix for all the biggies, will be good to watch.

Mahan for the Masters
US Open for Mickleson
THe Open for a certain tartan clad englishmen (Poulter)
USPGA Donald (still world no. 1)

Westwood to win Players, runner up in 2 majors
Woods, will win twice, bay hill and possibly memorial or quail hollow
Fowler will win early on, maybe at scottsdale
Mcilroy wins 3 but not "biggys"
Ryder Cup team in Europe to have Casey and Garcia in it, and Sergio. Europe retain the cup with a tie

Monty comeback… ok now that is wishful thinking ;) :p

Quite a few of us predicting a good year for Poulter, possibly a major. I think his season ending win in Oz could really propel him forward after last year, which just seemed a bit flat (by his standards).
