2025 Major Champions

I love these pointless discussions!

Masters - Scheffler. Looks to be playing a different level at Augusta.

US PGA - Rory. Finally get the monkey off his back. Probably the major he wants least.

US Open - Bryson. Back to back

The Open - Lowry. A lot of you guys going for Rory but I think playing at home isn’t his strength.

Interesting to see people’s opinions though!!
Form might come into it closer to the time 😀

I think Rory’s best chance is the PGA and not the Open, despite it being at Portrush. Relative to other elite players, he’s not so good in wind due to his higher than average ball flight…He is strongest on PGA Champ courses, due to his Driver strength IMO

Masters Scheffler
PGA McIlroy/Bryson
US Open Rahm
Open Schauffele/Fleetwood

Rory has a great record at Quail Hollow

Agree with that, I don't expect Rory so do well in Portrush. Quail Hollow is the obvious one given his form there previously.

I could easily see Hatton winning any of the Majors this year.
Traditionally I'd have him down as a US Open winner with the premium on accuracy and tightness of game, but they vary the course set-ups a lot more now.
If he was to win a Major it might settle down his desire to prove himself a bit, I'd love to see him turn into the better version of himself that we all know is there when the red mist isn't blowing.

Rory or Sheffler show I think this year. Hatton or Ludvig I think could grab one. Real outsider but I can see JT coming back into a bit of form this year too. Would be great to see Fleetwood get one over the line, I think he’ll do well at Portrush.

Masters - Nichlaus
PGA - Watson
US Open - Trevino
Open - Jacklin.

If they don’t win, it’ll some whippersnapper like Norman.
