As i have over the past 6 months started playing again i have decided to join Polkemmet where i can play golf Mon-Fri before 5pm for a mere £102.
What is your clubs weekday season ticket priced at ?

£340 for 7 day unlimited or
£240 for 5 day anytime.

How is Polkemmet these days, played 9 holes over the winter months and it was frozen solid, should never have been allowed to open IMO.

We have 18 different rates for different membership types.
Different ages, playing privilages etc

god damn, why is it so expensive round my way??!! the worst course by far is over £600 a year! and its really not a great track, on teeofftimes, its usually £6 for 18 holes!!! i have 5 courses with 5 miles of me, and they are all (bar the above) £8-900+ per year.... i cant justify that... £450 for a half decent course i could convince mrs rooter though!!

Rooter that's not that bad. At my club a full 7 day membership is around £750 which is by far the cheapest in the area. There are not many that are under £1000 for a full membership where I am.

I'm the same as Davey, I believe a 5 day membership at our place is £575, they also do an off peak membership which is any time after 1pm 7 days a week for £420 then they also do a Summer membership 5 days March - October for £495 or 7 days for £690.

I would also like to point out that our course is not worth the full price membership fee, but I doubt the owner will drop his prices.....it's £3.80 for a pint of San Miguel in the clubhouse. The pro is trying to improve things around the place especially the course and practice facilities but he just gets ignored by the looks of it.

Wow this thread makes me want to move. Inside teh M25, try finding a club worth joining for under £1300.00 plus most have joining fees. I'm currently looking at a couple of locals and am looking at almost £1400 plus an £1100 joining fee :-(

My club is a members only course and looks quite expensive compared to a few on here for 7 days membership, but at least i dont have to book tee times ;o)
