What is the best tip you have picked up this year that has helped your game. For me, someone who struggles to hit the ball cleanly, it was listening to Lee Westwood's master class at the British Masters - lifting your chin up a little. I have hardly hit the ball fat since hearing that... now just got to hit it straight!

Practice your putting.

Shame the rest of my game fell to bits but I did get better with the putter (admittedly, a new putter was a great motivation to actually do some practice)

Dont eat yellow snow !!!

Oh and go and buy yourself a Gary Wiren Key Training aid for your short game and putting !!

Motorcycle drill, have tendency to cast the club by bending my left left wrist like I'm revving a motorbike it give me a square club face and a more solid strike , got this tip from MYTPI

Managed to improve recently by checking my alignment. Found I was aiming way right with the ball too far back in the stance. Now feel I am aiming way left, but the results in the last few rounds have been a lot better, and started to hit a few fairways.

Before the change think Coach Lockey. Why doesn't Mark Crossfield tell him he is aiming so far right, and then trying to flip the club back with his hands. You can get away with it with the irons, but the driver, no chance.

Good to hear - when you free for a game before Xmas ?

Alignment (along with posture) two problems I've had. I'm working hard on the posture but still have to be careful as I have the opposite issue and have the shoulders too open. Silly game

Glutton for punishment ? Struggling with my back at the moment, but if I survive Hayling on Sunday I am around most of next week.

I assume it is legal to play with a back brace ? Great for posture, but deos mean I need help teeing the ball up.;)

Ok mate will check diary and let you know

I struggle to stop rotating my forearms on the backswing & opening the face. Had a lesson at my local range with John Downie, a former European Tour player who made his debut in the same tournament as Seve made his. He showed me how to start the swing with the clubface looking at the ball. This reminded me about the advice in John Jacobs' excellent, long out of print book "Play Better Golf" where he says to start the backswing by turning the right shoulder away from the ball. The arms & hands don't move independently until the club is parallel to the ground. Starting the downswing the same way, moving only the shoulders works too and has eliminated most of the straight pulls I used to get. I haven't hit it as straight for a long time. It's worth looking back on past lessons learned, and forgotten, if you lose your game for any reason.

Watch the club hit the ball - only tip in golf that works. Especially useful for chipping and putting, the latter can be paraphrased into "listen to the ball drop in the hole."
