Basically i was hitting a few balls on the range after doing18 holes when a chap asked if i would show him round,
it was hammering with rain but hey why not,
We both par the first, second hole were two good drives, 120 for me stick it to 15ft,
115 for him puts it to 3ft, birdie
He then continues par,birdie par birdie par birdie birdie

Turns out he's off +2, i've played in some pro-ams over the years but never seen anything like it, especially in those conditions,
an absolute masterclass in driving pitching and putting,

Thought i had him on the second par 3, 150 yds i put a 9 iron to 3 ft, his was 20 + short,
he drained it for a 2 and i lipped out

It was nice playing with you today ruff driver, thanks for showing me round.

Thats amazing playing considering he's never been there. Loved to hear what he could do on a good day.

It's a different game sometimes.

Played in a 36 hole 4BBB match play final a couple of weeks back against a 1 & 2 handicappers pair. All square after 9 then they birdied 6 of the next 7 holes to finish the first round 6 up.
