Having spotted a thread about Masterchef:

People who describe things as their passion and talk about the stuff as being a journey.

The use of the word YouZ ( Than yous all and All yous were amaxing). HID was watching something with Coleen Rooney and she used it in every second sentence. I was getting more and more annoyed I just wanted to lamp her one.

"The boy did brilliant"

Designer bags, shoes, sunglasses and so on.

So for a pair of ordinary sunglasses was a bloke was making a cheese sandwich and with a stoke of good fortune a pair of shades appeared instead.

where do I begin?

tortology as in 'going forward into the future',

statements beginning with such as 'everybody likes'; 'everybody's talking about'; 'we all want', 'the majority . . .' If you can't prove it the most you can say is 'some people . . .'!

office speak - 'taking ownership' etc

utter cr*p speak - 'maximumalisation' (saw that in a bid proposal), 'transportationwise'

completely agree with hapless'

I'm guilty of cheers but then it is said as a contraction of cheerio.

People who randomly stand up at the end of a presentation etc and say "I think I speak for everyone when I say...." If you haven't been elected to speak on behalf of "everyone", or asked "everyone" if you can be their spokesman, then you don't. I can speak for myself, sit down you toadying, patronising little £hite

one? ONCE? it would never be enough surely.

Innit is one word, that when used, should be punished by decapitation.

Sports people who have an injured leg refer to the injured part as 'the leg'. No, it's your leg that is injured, take some ownership of it.

I don't know why it annoys me so much but I really don't like golf courses being call "tracks".

And I can't stand people who use familiar terms for things they really have no business being familiar with, the main one being discussions regarding Ferrari motor cars, "Oh the Fezza looked gorgeous mate!" FERRARI YOU IGNORANT C()47! It's called a Ferrari and you'll never come within 100 yards of one! Enzo would have had them buried under the testing track!

And I don't even like Ferraris but it still winds me up something chronic...

And anytime people spell someone's name wrong on a forum, especially when they're slagging them off behind their backs. If you're going to be rude about someone at least give them the tiniest scrap of respect by getting their name right, unless you're so stupid you can't manage that, morons...

Finally, thank god it’s not just me.

A new group of playing pals kept on with " oh that’s a nice little track ", I’ve always thought it sounded strange, and coming from a motorsport background could never associate my perception of the word "track" with a golf course. I have always said "Nice course", "Tight course", "Punishing course" etc etc etc.

But as much as I hate the term "track", its bloody growing on me and every time i say it i hear a voice in my head saying it doesn’t sound right!
