Why did you give up golf ?

I started at 9, and was mad keen on it by 12. I played golf, golf and golf till I went to uni at which time I found beer and women. Still drink beer, and returned to golf proper when I was 25, 28 yrs ago - guess that doesn't say much about women... don't tell the wife!

My club has an intermediate membership for 18 - 21 year olds and 21 - 25 at a big discounted price to help keep them.

Just got to 12, 11.6 exact! Then a few weeks later found out I was going to be out of a job.

Ended up all good but golf was not high on the priority list as I had little money. Thats all it was... Money

i gave it up for sex n drugs n rockin roll:whoo:, gave up 2 of them wish i had stuck in at the golf. this is my fourth season back after 15ish years and im loving the golf

I did think about giving it up for music and a free electric band once.

I never started - until the day I left uni.

Then, I did indeed give up.

Maybe I'm secretly 10 years younger than I think I am.

I'm not contributing really.
