WHS Question - down then back up!?

Hi guys

Apologies if this has been answered before, but I put in a general play score last weekend and got cut 0.3 after the round the following morning, to 18.9.

This morning my handicap went back up to 19.2 with no score entered before this happened. Are there any reasons for this?

If you had some 9 hole scores in your last 20 and are in England, yes. They updated the algorithm this week and some handicaps have changed without people playing.

According to a similar thread England golf have been reporting glitches in the system.
