Who's watching the Liverpool match?

I think if Liverpool could have their first choice 11 out every week for the rest of the season then I really think they have a great chance of winning it. If you look at what would probably be the best starting 11, it is more or less as good as anyone.

Mignolet
Johnson, Skyrtl, Agger, Enrique
Gerrard, Lucas
Couthinio
Sturridge, Suarez, Sterling

Problem still sits with the bench. Plenty of back up players in the defensive roles, but no one really that can come on and win a game.

Sterling is looking like the real deal.

England are going to need everybody super fit.
To be honest anything could happen between now and the summer.
We will need wide men that can defend as well,Stirling cant defend,he may well go
however I believe he would be an impact sub.

I watched the scum today [banter calm down].
I can safely say that was the most comprehensive destruction of a top premiership team
ive seen.
S S and S were absolute dynamite.

Posted by an Arsenal fan on FB so had to share.

Can't wait to see MOTD tonight now.

I think Jose can take some of the credit for Liverpools victory,I noticed Brendan Rodgers was at the Etihad on Monday taking notes from his Master.

Rodgers notes from Monday nights match were quite short

"Play opposite tactics to Maureen"

I would just like to say I have really enjoyed watching Liverpool this season. It has been a few seasons since I have been able to say that. I also said at the outset that Brendon Rogers was a good appointment for a club like Liverpool.

He was rubbish at Reading though.:D

Still unsure about him - think tactically and as a coach he is superb - his signings though I'm not too sure about and at times he has been a bit naive with his selections

But his brand of football is great to watch - if we don't get Top 4 though this season it's going to be a struggle for him

13 games left - 6 at home , if we win those 6 at home and grab a few other points that should give us CL

Imreckon that combo could bring you the title. I would agree re signings, although I reckon when you make cl that will help you bring in top names. Rodgers whilst well thought of in Britain is still a relatively unknown worldwide.

For me I would love to see England line up like this:

Hart
Johnson, Cahill, Jagielka, Cole
Gerrard, +1?
Wilshire
Sturridge, Rooney, Sterling

Who then cares about Sterling tracking back to defend. With 3 central midfielders it would not be vital. Anyway when Gerrard picks up the ball I want Sterling making runs like he does at Liverpool, not standing next to Cole.

On current form I would have Barkley in the middle with Wilshire and Gerrard

This could be the time when Arsenals season starts to go wrong & they settle for top 4. It was only a matter of time.

Arsenal only care about top 4, being top for so long just gives them a better chance of achieving it. They've forgotten how to win.

Missed the game bar the last ten minutes and Liverpool were coasting by then. I think Liverpool are playing the best football of the top four at the moment

They play Fulham on Wednesday. When it's finished, can someone zap me with one of those men in black memory erasers so I don't remember the score, I have a feeling it could get really embarrassing.

Think Johnson's time at RB is coming to an end - been a massive improvement with flanno in there

Johnson has never been a good right back - ever. Of all the players I have ever seen play for England, he is the only one who I ever see play and think "How did he get there?", and I'm including Carlton Palmer in that.

Obviously you've never seen Tom Cleverly play!!
If he played for AFC Wimbledon I'd be thinking "how did he get there"

Just back in from the match, Liverpool were magic today though i thought Arsenal were atrocious.

We need to stop making silly errors like Gerard's tackle he just didn't have to make that.

Wilshere is a little tart, crying like a baby over a little shove get a grip.

I still don't believe Rodgers is the man to bring the title to us but he certainly deserves some credit for this seasons performances.

Fixed that for ya :D you don't expect us to believe it took you 'til 21:15 to get from Anfield to wherever you live in Liverpool do you?

Whos winning the ball back? When will England ever play their best "team". Not just 11 biggest names available. Cole and Johnson are barely playing this season, be it for form or fitness.
