Kenny to stay or Rafa back
You've changed your opinion, if Roy was as great as you've mentioned the minimum he should be doing is getting England to the semis as he got Switzerland to 4th in the world after all.
I couldn't care less about England tbh but it will be funny to watch the clueless blagger bluff his way through games.
As for Kenny, I only wanted him back because he WAS the better option out of the 2 of them, which results proved he was.
Hodgson isn't fit to lace Kenny's boots.
I guess absence really does make the heart grow fonder. I remember boat pool fans wanted raga out. Not aggressively forced, but felt his number was up. I personally think Kenny shouldn't have been elbowed as he'd won cups and not don't any worse than most in league for recent years. But it looks like it could be a goo decision.
I never wanted Rafa out - he was standing up to the two criminals
Fair enough, and I'm sure you have a better grasp of the local feeling. But all of the armchair fans I knew thought his number was up. Whilst agreeing that the yanks had to go too.
Armchair/Internet fans sums it up.
Liverpool league positions in the last four years, 7th,6th,8th,7th. Points behind champions, a lot. This season 4th challenging for the title 6 points off the top, with two teams above to play at home. Likely to finish well ahead of Man U as a bonus.Still unsure about him - think tactically and as a coach he is superb - his signings though I'm not too sure about and at times he has been a bit naive with his selections
But his brand of football is great to watch - if we don't get Top 4 though this season it's going to be a struggle for him
13 games left - 6 at home , if we win those 6 at home and grab a few other points that should give us CL
How can such a big club go so long with out winning the league? Sorry but to blame it on other teams spending more is just a cop out. Liverpool haven't exactly been tight in the transfer market.
Would you agree that Spurs are a big club, Everton, Chelsea (maybe), Man United, City and Newcastle (controversial).
Spurs last won the league (and only time) in 1961.
Everton havent won the league for 24 years, or a trophy for 19 years.
Chelsea (before the money) hadn't won the league since 1955.
Newcastle (apart from the Fairs cup) havent won a trophy since Wor jackie.
Man U (biggest/bestest club ever) went 26 years without winning the league.
City (before the money) hadn't won the league in 40 odd years.
Hardly in unusual company are we?
Pinseeker - who do you actually support, as it really isn't obvious? Or do you just buzz off giving stick to the (un)flavour of the month? Better to support someone than just be the critic of everyone else, I find.
Expecting the "Ooh, aren't you Liverpool fans touchy response"............

I missed this pearler of fishing
Chelsea - 50 years without winning the title until the money
that's how football is nowadays. No money no glory. We are still probably £80M short of being genuine title contenders.
That's £80mil for 3-4 players plus their wages every month - it's hard to sustain those sort of wage bills without a helping hand
With modern players chasing the money - it's always going to be which team is willing to pay him the most
From what I understand we are trying to offer low basic but add in incentives to players to boost their wages - so basically they will get the big bucks if they earn it on the pitch - as opposed to just getting it anyway. The idea is spot on but realistically it won't ever work unless all the clubs do it
