Oh my god. I have never seen anything like this, if you are not watching it turn it on or get to the pub as this is unbelievable 4-0 inside 20 minutes. The slow clumsy defence of Arsenal is being taken apart by the pace of Liverpool and it looks like it will just get worse for them as it could easily be 6-0 already.

A mate of mine has travelled down from Shetland to go to the game for his 40th birthday. He had to evacuate his hotel last night due to flooding and he missed going on the Anfiled tour. Somehow I don't think he'll be caring now.

This could be the time when Arsenals season starts to go wrong & they settle for top 4. It was only a matter of time.

People have been talking for a few weeks now about when Arsenal will start to collapse...........

Not going to get carried away as a Liverpool fan here, but, can Liverpool win the league? All their big games are at home so that helps and the are not that far behind. A couple of results going their way over the next couple of weeks will see them right in it.

Are they going to win the league? This game is just enforcing the fact that are looking likely to get a Champions League spot. I do not think they have the squad to keep it going like this though for another 14 games. But hey if everyone keeps fit and do not start picking up suspensions, then who knows.

Brendan Rodgers is doing a good job but personally I don't think they can compete with Chelsea or City.
I've had my mate a bet that Liverpool finish above Everton (he's a Liverpool fan:confused:)

Like my post said. They can win it, after all they are only 5 points behind with Man City and Chelsea to play at home but realistically I do not think it will happen. But hey, 10 games ago I never thought that we would still be in this great position.

Stranger things have happened mate.
I think UTD can kiss goodbye to top 4 now:)

Still much more concerned with what's going on at the other end of the table!

Predictably lost Independent Review. Big Sam raises a few reasonable points, but Carroll was certainly not blameless - daft would be putting it mildly! A good result at Villa (and maybe elsewhere) would do wonders - up to 12th if everything went 'right'! There's an oppo that's already looking like moving up 5 places!

Who cares about that gash

C'mon the Reds

Liverpool should have beat Chelsea and City away from home if they had they would be top today . I cant see why they can murder Arsenal but can not beat West Brom that is a problem they need to sort .Liverpool should have scored eight today Sterling should have had four. But they have to stop giving sloppy goals away What was Gerrard doing for the penalty it was just a very poor tackle and was the only way Arsenal looked like scoring

missed the game as I was working, managed to nip home but it was 4-0 by then and missed the 5th. We can;t win it with the defense we have. Thankfully we are so good going forward and such a hard working & pressing team that we see plenty of the ball thus minimising the threat against our mediocre defense.

I would love to be proved wrong though :)

me too...

Can't bear to watch the last 30mins at villa. Bound to go wrong.

Think Downing coming back has made a big difference to the Irons.

Liverpool not being in Europe could be big plus for them. Mind you, Gooners will soon be in that happy position too...
