Who's still playing

We are still closed. Apparently greens are all clear - just that you can't get to them and as ground is sooo wet there is a really high risk of play resulting in significant damage to the fairways, fringes etc :(

Ladies roll up tomorrow morning. If it's absolutely lashing down I probably won't bother. Should do housework really:o

Playing at 1230,its Ladies Day ,and even in these days of equality cannot 'T 'off til 12!
We only play 9,we are 4 old farts.
Our course drains very well, sandstone based. The greens are exceptional for the time of year,we have no temps at all.
Warrington G Club if you are in the area, all welcome.

We're open again today (closed yesterday) forecast (per metoffice.gov.uk) is for dry and windy for the next couple of days so the medal on Saturday will probably be a qualifier!

On temps at filton today after yet more rain. Doesn't effect me as I'm in London with work. Hoping it will have clear up a bit by Saturday.

Managed three holes this morning before a squall with hailstones forced us off the course. After sitting in the clubhouse for an hour or so the rain stopped, so played nine holes with a friend. Walking down a muddy slope I slipped and ended up on my backside in a rather muddy state. Yuk!

Managed to get out today for 9 holes and it was like a swamp. Feet sinking into the ground in parts of the fairways and balls plugging all the time. Not a great deal of fun really. All I will say is that it makes you really focus on getting a good contact with the ball as anything caught slightly heavy goes nowhere. Will take weeks for this to dry out I reckon

its been Ok here, could have played any day apart from the fact up up to my eye balls is work and my ankle is playing up again after i twisted it before new year, might not even be able to play on Sat:(

Managed to play a full 18 hole round for the first time since Xmas Eve yesterday morning. Weather was actually quite nice, not cold and not too windy. Course was still quite wet though.

Played today but what a round.......shots just rolling into flooded bunkers not GIR, putts that stopped on the edge of the hole, shots that ricocheted off trees like trick shots and ended up further back and in the crap and one lost ball. Upside was that I only had two bad drives, hit some good shots with my 3 wood off the fairway, didn't get rained on for long and the company was good:)

Have not played since the 2nd . Course is still very wet although my friend played yesterday and reported that the fairways were draining well. We have a trolley ban which is to be reviewed on Monday.

We are still open and the courses are draining well. Greens are ultra soft at the minute.

Played this afternoon and it was sodden. We had rain overnight and a downpour this morning. Balls are sinking upon landing on the fairway. Going to pass on the course for a while now as it is farcical really
