I would swoop quickly at that price and if your mate backs out punt them onto ebay or try selling them to golfbidder.

Good luck.

Dave (the club pro) also offered me £175.00 in part exchange for the Callys if I didn't sell them privately, which I thought was a fantastic deal. I've told him that I think I've got a buyer for them, and somebody on here has PM'd me to say he is very interested in them too, so I'm fairly confident they will go OK.
On another forum I am a member of, a 6 handicapper is playing with the Ti's and raves about them.

MD are gathering a bit of a following and I think it has been justified. My pro has stocked some MD gear nad he reckons they are pretty good. £29 for a set of clubs must be in the top 3 deals on the forum in 2008

I thought my set of tour burner graphites for £180 (including my R7's as trade in) was a pretty decent bit of business but this is pretty special

I'm pretty chuffed to be honest Homer, as I say...a £399.00 set of clubs for £229.00. When he said he'd do me a deal and was tapping about with his calculator I thought he was going to say £300.00 or so, but when he gave me the price I had to stifle a big grin! I double checked to make sure that they were with graphite shafts....he confirmed they were!
That's 3-PW too, not like some sneaky places where I was looking at alternatives. They give you what looks like a great price but when you look closely that's for seven irons. Add a 4 iron or a PW and the price rockets!

Great result that Smiffy. Snap it up quick.

Worst case your gonna have to sell for £175 its still only costing you £54 quid to swap. Bargain that my friend.

Good luck shifting. Keep us posted.

Alot of better players who are happy with a set of rons will quite happily re-shaft their entire set as they are happy with the set of irons they have I'm also sure that alot of people will consider it rather than the expensive outlay of a new set of bats. If I'm still as happy with my Ping S59's in the next couple of years I will certainly consider paying £200 plus for them to be re-shafted instead of £5-600 for a new set.

Now, let me think..... was it 2 or 3 complete set re-shafts I had on my 845s. Everytime, I went for the spec recommended by my pro. Cost me a lot, but cheaper than buying new clubs.
When I did buy new clubs (and had C_F) they lasted less than a year....cheap Mizuno tosh.....went back to the 845s and swapped the nasty bottom-of-the-range Mizzies for a fridge.

If you've got good irons that suit you, don't overlook the re-shaft option....
