Which 'simple' shot do you most dislike having to hit?

...downhill three-footer across a break will always get my attention! ...

As I righty I don't like them with left to right break. The ball feels like it falls off the putter face rather than being hit.

Hold up.....
"Simple" shots!!!!
Since when has a downhill lie in a bunker or ball below feet been simple..?

For me its the short par 3 drive, up to about a 7 iron.
Give me a 7 iron lay-up and I'll put it to within a yard of where I want it - give me the same shot at a flag and God alone knows what's going to happen......

Putts from 10-20 ft, getting the pace on them at the minute is a real issue.

Don't usually leave myself a tap in, its normally another good putt to get down in 2 from 20ft.

I've just thought of another one.... hitting a tee shot into a very low sun when you and your playing partners have no chance of seeing where it went!

always struggle to commit to that

I just hit those and walk off to the right rough. Something normally turns up!

Yeah I'd say the 2-3ft straight putt
(even though we'll hole many more than we'll miss, the expectation is to miss none at all which makes it hard to bear when I do)
