When the rain comes...

This bad boy:

I wore it 2 weekends ago in torrential conditions. For 15 holes it didn't miss a beat....and then suddenly for the final 3 I could feel the dampness. Not unhappy though as it was proper pouring down.

Oh and the answer is yes, I do look like a complete tool wearing it.

I'm a fair weather golfer.

If it is raining that hard then I'm not out there!

Another bucket hat wearer here.

I have a Footjoy bucket hat and it really keeps the rain off my glasses when playing. I use to use a perspex visor that I found in the small ads of a golf magazine. I still have it somewhere. That was really good as well, but it did get a few funny looks and comments from playing partners!!

What headgear do you wear?
I had a cap on last time and the water dripping from the peak which was a right nuisance, I'm sure it's why I missed so many putts that day

So what's the alternative to a cap which will stop the damn dripping?

Turn it backwards during a shot if it is dripping off the peak.

Couldn't find any of my normal headgear today - so ended up wearing a combat-style camouflage 'baseball' cap. Was that OK to wear? - I got a feeling that a couple of my PPs thought it just stepped over the line.
