Most recent (back in June) was a 12. Tee shot down the middle. 6 shots (shanks) later I was digging into a gorse bush to find my ball - dropped clear of gorse into heather for 8 hacked towards green; chip onto green; 2 putts - 12. Easy.

Seem to remember having an 18 a year or so after I'd started playing, not been close to it since!
Did once win a hole in the division 1 knockout final with a 9 and my opponent was giving me a shot!!

11 is your highest score? That's not a REAL high score - that's just a bad day
To be fair the majority of my golf before joining a club this year has been stableford, where I have always picked up before double figures

Had a 11in 2007 when I started golf was on a par 4 lol
Always remember at the time getting a hc of 25 thinking I was hard done by as it should have been 27/28 based on my three cards!
Man the damage I could do on the course now with 25 shots lol

Had a 13 on our 14th, a par 3, last year in a medal comp. I was something like 4 or 5 under my handicap at the time and cruising 
It went something like, hit it a bit left off the tee but hit the side of a bank and kicked it under some trees. Tried to chip under trees and over bunker and duffed it, duffed it again, then duffed into bunker. A few swings in the bunker, then thinned into bunker the other side of green right under the back lip. Few more swings to get out and then some putts.
I can't repeat the language that came out my mouth on this forum but needless to say my playing partners kept their distance for a few holes until the red mist cleared. Had a good laugh about it in the bar afterwards but still stings when I think about it today.

1st hole of my first ever competition - Orton Meadows, in Peterborough, circa 1989, they put me out with the captain - 363 yards dogleg right - hit drive to the dogleg and hit iron up to 20 yards short of the green - then first ever shank of my life into long grass, after another ten minutes or so and some agriculural work in various bunkers I looked at the captain and said 'am I right? 15?' - he nodded and we headed for the second tee.
