What you looking forward to the most this year?

Firstly, I'm looking to play more and get the consistency.

Trip wise, very much looking forward the October trip to:

Fairhaven
St Annes Old Links
Royal Lytham
Hollinwell (Notts GC)

Justman congrats on the first baby coming truly amazing experience but be prepared to feel powerless. Phil congrats to you too for number three, I'm stopping at two so you are a braver man than me! Golf wise I'm looking forward to the Hidden Gems meet with GM and FootJoy :)

Thanks Tiger

I have got a few things to look forward to. The usual suspects; Hankley, Sunningdale, St Georges Hill, West Hill, Berkshire, Worplesdon, Woburn etc. with the Aircraft Golfing Society.

Those aside, I am looking forward to playing Blackmoor again in April, then am off to Palma, Mallorca for 4 days of golf.

In May, I am going to cash in a raffle prize I won and play at The K Club which should be nice. I will arrange a couple of other courses to play on the same trip too I guess.

The highlight though will be the same as for the last two years. The Pat Jennings Golf Classic at Royal County Down in October! Golfing heaven. The best course I have ever played by a country mile and I love the place. Superb hotel too. And we will be going back as defending champs this year with the same team!

Golfing heaven! Not jealous at all! ;)

Enjoy!

Golfing wise starts tomorrow with The Daily Mail 1st round. We're away so hope we get through as last year it was the most fun golf I have played and I love the team ethic of the competition. Also planning a trip to Scotland which will be amazing and a "must do" for us.

Non golf there is a trip to Manchester to see the mighty Bruce Springsteen - can't wait.

Golf/holidays are 2 trips to The Lakes and hoping to play Silloth again and possibly/hopefully in calmer conditions! Also hoping to get plenty of trips away to our caravan which is based in Norfolk and might try and play some of the North Norfolk courses as well.

Otherwise looking forward to a summer when I only work on Mondays

My list isnt as glamorous as others but got quite a few games lined up this year including our annual trip to Scotland.

Woburn meet.
Gleneagles and 3others on our Scotland trip.
Caldy pairs open.
Northernden pairs open.
Nefyn

And hopefully a couple of days with a society I've played with.

Outside golf: Going to South American for 5 months and starting university.

In golf: Finals day, trying to get my name on honours' board! Only 36 long holes away.

ok ive had two and he noticed a big change after one lesson, practising a bit then i will be fitted for a driver hopefully next week. the weather hasnt been too good lately so not a lot of golf just the range. your mantra of definition of madness makes sense. i think i will always top up my lessons every so often.

Sounds good.
Which range are you using ?

lessons down at belleisle (where the golf simulator is) with richard gordon. auchenharvie for the range by myself, got a lot to work on but hopefully get there some time. i cant believe how ignorant i was to lessons. after two swings he has given me 3 things to work on. even managed a draw with more distance

Find a club after eight years away get a handicap and see how low it can go

Looking forward to getting some new clubs, driver, fairway wood and wedge

Holiday in Florida to sort and get some golf arranged

Outside golf to sort out work so I have some time for other things!!

What is it like, as I have been using North Gailles, but is getting a bit shabby there and balls are poor.
