Golf Wise

Going to Carton House for a full Titleist fitting, 20th February, only 31 days to go lol, see what happens there and maybe get some new shinies. Hopefully get to play some of the course on the same day.

Hope to get out and play lots and get hcap down, want to try out as many new courses as possible and just enjoy myself as much as possible.

Away from golf
Am currently getting alot of redecorating etc done, just bought a new fireplace, oak floor and doors. Got a new sofa and tv/home entertainment system before Xmas. Looking forward to seeing it all in, and how it looks.
Primarily for the arrival of my 3rd child (a boy apparently, 2 girls already) HID wanted the place spruced up.
Never really got the doing house or room up thing before. Or had the finances to contemplate it. But now I actually can't wait until its all going to be finished. Plus it's justification for any new shinies that may appear end of Feb, beginning of March lol

Woburn at the end of March. Really looking forward to that, hope the weather doesn't let us down. Woodhall Spa at the end of April. Should be a great week-end. Turkey for a week with 15 other guys from May 24th. First time I have been there but everybody going says the courses are as good as the Algarve, if not better.

Justman congrats on the first baby coming truly amazing experience but be prepared to feel powerless. Phil congrats to you too for number three, I'm stopping at two so you are a braver man than me! Golf wise I'm looking forward to the Hidden Gems meet with GM and FootJoy :)

Getting my new swing bedded in and under control.

Then Woburn and Woodhall Spa should be fun, and may be sneak in a week in Lisbon with the Mrs.

Golf wise,
Playing at my new club in nice warm weather, entering some comps and generally getting amongst it all there!

A weekend in may away at The Dorset GC, not heard too much about it but going with a great bunch of lads, 16 of us, so will be a great crack!

Playing The Forest Of Arden (Arden course) on sunday 27th May, CANNOT WAIT!! The place looks really good and my mate is taking me as he got a 2ball for xmas so its costing me nowt!

Non-Golf wise,
Stag do to Madrid for 4 days at the end of June

I've got 4 days golf in the Algarve the first weekend in Feb

4 days golf in Spain the 3rd weekend in Feb

Pro AM in June at my track

The GM meet at Camberley, and looking to tie that in with a game at Swinley Forrest.

A couple of opens this year, not sure where yet.

If Smiffy's down at St Mellion late this year I might try and join them for a couple of games.

Without wanting to jinx myself, I'm most looking forward a full season of golf! Injury last year cost me 4 months so looking to make amends in 2012! I also cannot wait for my first forum meet at Woodhall Spa. I've put my name down too for our club 'B' Team, so hopefully that will allow me to play a number of new courses for the first time. Those warm summer evenings are getting closer :D

As others have already mentioned, Woburn in march should be awesome and I really hope the weather holds!

Woodhall Spa as there's a good group and it's my birthday on the Saturday - birthday drinks at my 'rents place (next to the 1st hole on the Bracken) for anyone that wants on Saturday before dinner.

Camberley - Looking forward to playing that again but mostly looking forward to the chips! Hopefully it's a bit cooler this time! :D

That is the highlights golf-wise. Very jealous of those who are playing Open Rota courses this year. Really want to play Turnberry but I fear I may have to wait until my 30th birthday.

Away from golf I have a two week all-inclusive holiday to Cyprus for a friend's wedding to look forward to. As well as the weddings of some friends and also being best man at my best mate's wedding in September - which means I also have his stag weekend to organise :D

Playing the Grove in September in the "Back on Black" comp' and hopefully the final in October if I get through.

Our 5 day golf Society trip to East Sussex in June. All booked now:

Staying at East Sussex National (balcony rooms)and playing the West course and also playing:

The Nevill
Crowborough Beacon

Living the dream.....if the weather plays ball!
