It's a lot - £215 before the 15% discount I can get for guests through the St Andrews Links ticketholder scheme.

I would really like to play Kingsbarns before it closes in November but I can't find a playing partner that's willing to spend the money.

Reading was my old Club. You will probably find my name on the honours board if they still go back to 1976.
Well your hairstyle does, so there's no reason their honours board won't.

Shiskine on Arran, its a 12 hole course playing there twice on Saturday. Do Scottish residents not get Kingsbarns at half price?
There was certainly some sort of SGU discount last time i looked , know a couple of years ago they were charging £70 for SGU members
North looks superb, had a mooch around on Saturday before flying home. Opens today5 days at Quinta da Lago next week which you could say I'm looking forward to!
SGU have certainly been known to get some decent deals at such places.
I got on Kingsbarns for £40 (quite) a while ago and Dundonald for £35. I do believe there were some tee times at Muirfield made available too.
Looks like it's currently £107 for members of SGU affiliated clubs....
