What would you ban next ?

Ban - Ladies upper garments! :whoo:

Ban - Men's lower garments!

Ban - Rounds less than 6 hours!
Well, after the first two bans it would be nigh on impossible to get round in less than that! :ears:

Played with a yellow Srixon today. Ideal when I went off piste including one in deepish rubbish. Stood out well. Don't see the issue with them.

Me too, last couple of rounds I've used yellow balls, although until the last couple of rounds I hadn't actually noticed how many buttercups we have growing on the course at the moment! I have a friend who is a Preston fan and will NOT use orange balls (Blackpool colours). :D

I noticed you used "a yellow Srixon" - so you never lost it then?

Getting 2 shots a hole, boom:whistle:

Agreed. My h'cap is 21 but I never play with a h'cap over 18 ........................... 2 shots a hole just seems wrong.
Anyway, playing off 18 makes the scoring much easier!

Slime.

I also play with yellow Srixons .......... ssshhhhhhh.

This is intriguing, excuse my ignorance but i'am fairly new to the game.
Are you saying that there is a facility on your computer to change your h/c when you sign in for a comp?
When i sign in at ours my h/c is on screen, and when i record my score at the end, it is worked out off the h/c in the system.
What i'am trying to say is, i may play my round of 18, but when i record my scores it will subtract 22 in a medal, or give me 2 strokes on si 1-4 in a stableford.
I understand this is possible in match play, but for anything else??
Genuine question this, not an attempt at sturring.

You can write a lower h'cap on your card and that will be your h'cap for the comp. your actually h'cap is still used for the h'cap calculations though so it's a false economy really, all he is doing is reducing his chance of winning

I've just decided that I'd ban persistent moaners. First moan is for free, then you're on the clock. 3 moans in an hour and you're out, and a 3 comp ban. I'd never finish a round, I love moaning. I'm gonna make a conscious effort to stop moaning, right after this post which is moaning about moaners. From now on I'm "glass half full Bluewolf". Happy days. Now where's that thread about street shoes. Damn!

Ah i see. So your card "over-rules" what the computer says. Obviously only when you lower your h/c, for each comp.
Cheers Hawkeye.

What i should of put is... Css 70, card says h/c 18, gross score 88, so comp result is 70. But with his h/c being 21 he will still recieve a 1.2 cut, got it, i think..

One ball's at the weekend..we had one in front and one behind today...What's the point ? I suggested to the lad looking fed up behind us to join up with the lad in front as we let him play through.he said he was only practicing so didn't want to..shouldn't' be allowed at weekends.held us up for two holes before he walked off.

Sorry blackpuddingmonster, I should have mentioned that I'm not a member of a club & don't play in club competitions!
I'm a nomad who plays with a few mates, but, come the H4H game at West Hill I'll be playing off 18.

Slime.

Understood now Slime..
I just had an awful vision of people being able to protect their actual h/c by playing of a lower one.
If the H4H game is an open meet, and i can make it, i might give it a go.
Give you some moral support so to speak :D
