Playing would be a target!

HID is working all weekend so its me and The Boy

Playing taxi driver this morning, Tesco's this afternoon
Tomorrow over to see my Mum so not much joy on the golf front this weekend - as usual. But I did beat Fragger (again) on friday.
Looking at a couple of games midweek though.

Working today. Trip down the dump tomorrow with some old clutter from the boys rooms and then teeing off at 12.00 with Murph, Leftie and JustoneUK.
Course should be in reasonable condition despite the little bit of rain we had overnight.
Just looked at the webcam view on the Boat of Garten website. You can see green!!!!

Well, ive been out already. 73 off some matts but all the greens in play again now. They've just been spiked so should be good for April 1st when the winter rules will be scrapped and the handicaps open up again.

Another 32 putts though. Knew it would be!

Yep, gross (never really think about my net)

Im playing Windmill Village near Coventry, its only about 5200 yards. Tough greens though, in fact the only ones which were harder that i've played were at the Belfry on the main course there).

Will find out what my handicap is tomorrow, playing my first comp for over 7 years and using brand new clubs for the first time, ill just go out and have fun and HOPEFULLY beat jammydodger and easengrace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Teaching the juniors this morning, a game this afternoon, lessons tomorrow morning a game in the afternoon, 9 degrees, gentle breeze and dry all weekend. :D
Apologies to those who are still snowbound :(

Dont you mean sympathys to those who are snowbound Bob,apologies means its your fault i know your a pro Bob but you aint god.

Played today, well I use the euphemism, as the back nine was a bit of a Rocky Horror show. The front nine was full of wedges covering the flgs and good drives but I couldn't buy a putt. I hit a bad drive down 10 and it all fell apart like a house of cards.

Even my short game which I thought I'd sorted has gone south again and even an hour on the chipping area hasn't really helped. At least if I have a mare in the medal tomorrow I get a shot back.

I know what the word means.
Heres a clue.
"9 degrees, gentle breeze and dry all weekend".

I apologise to those who are snowbound if my post has made you feel worse or jealous.
Is that easier for you to understand?

And if you want to quibble about words, it's "you aren't God"

Hoping for 37/38 points in the mid month Stableford on Saturday to get me to 8.
Managed the goal of 37 points with a gross 79, but should have been so much better!!!

Had 3 birdies, but had another 8 birdie putts, 4 of which were very makeable within 6 feet. Also missed 2 silly taps ins while trying to avoid someones line...lesson learned there....mark & wait!!!

Ended up with 5 x 1 pointers & a blob, but struck the ball the best so far this year and could easily have had a 1 over gross round.
Just have to wait and see what the CSS was to see if I get cut to 8.

Well done Rick. Have you been talking to Dean? :)
Not since he beat me 5&3 the other day.... :o he has also been removed from my will and Xmas card list!!! :D
Damn those lessons you gave him last week...I hate you.... :D :D
