Now do i agree to take her and hope she does'nt enjoy it ??
If she does enjoy it i fear she will hijack my rounds with the boy's .

I sometimes take my g/f. When she see's me 'hit it miles' as she puts it and struggles to hit a good shot 50yards she soon gives up

She wont want to take golf up unless she thinks she can beat you

Take her and encourage her to play but with conditions. There are loads of benfits if you think about it.

a)We have a few couples at our club but they dont ever seem to play together

b)You have a caddy in those important competition rounds.

c)If she plays she will be more acceptable to the ''can you pick me up from the club because i have had to much to drink''

d)She will enjoy a couple of rounds of golf when you are on holiday together.

e)She will understand how the game can grip you, when you play both Saturday and Sunday and a couple of midweek 9 holers during the summer.

Despite all the usual banter about lady golfers it's actually a great sport to do together. My other half started after years as a golf widow. I get less hassle as she actually appreciates why I like it now. She's keen as mustard too despite being a (poor) 36 handicapper. We now play a few holes most nights in summer. Are going on golfing holidays etc. Happy days.
