What do you think you would you score if.....

The nearest I have come is selling my gear (the whole lot. Bag, irons, woods, wedges and putter) the realised I had to play a singles match the next day and had to use the wife's Titleist DTR pink bag, trolley and Precept Lady balls. I got battered 5&4.

I'd be doomed!! - My mates "bisexual" - plays every sport bar golf right handed, I reckon he'd be ok with my bats, I could (and have) use his putter ok, but know from the odd occasion I've had to play out of trouble left handed that my swing would be even worse as a left hooker!

Hope it didn't clash with that pretty pullover you're wearing in your sig? :D ;)

The piss taking about ping clubs is getting a bit boring, I've seen some of ur handicaps and think maybe some of u should try pings, it may help ur games

Think you missed the main point of my post, Champ.

I reckon I'd be no worse with any clubs... might tweak the odd putt here and there but I do that already anyway :)

Any clubs swapped for yours would be an improvement, but I can't see any one volunteering.

no way would i let anyone touch my new sticks...

a slight related topic, my regular playing partner has access to his dad's extensive club collection and we've been having 80's, 90's and 00's rounds, ie play the round with a set of clubs from the 80's....thats good fun, micro mizzy blades :s

I think I'd struggle, my regular partner is well over a foot taller than me (I'm 5'8") and has 2" extra on his shafts, which could be problematical...

I've got an old Sam Snead putter which is ambidextrous (it's a blade with a face on both sides). On the practice green I putt better left handed than I do right, seems to be something to do with the sighting but I've never had the balls to actually try it on the course!

I hate to think lol

My regular partner is very new to the game, has a 2nd hand set of dunlop irons and woods which are not kept at all clean, with what appear to be overly soft shafts, not ideal for someone who is 6ft5 used to lengthened, upright and extra stiff shafts lol, only plus would be he currently has my old taylor made wedges which would give me half a chance round the greens. As for the putter...........

My playing partner is about a foot shorter than me & has a much slower swing. As such he has very whippy shafts which probably won't suit my swing.
Also, he hates irons and carries driver,3,5,7 & 9 woods along with a couple of rescue woods.
I prefer my irons.

If it was one of my regualr partners then very little, if any, difference. We are all of a similar ability and all with "decent", similarly constructed clubs.

The only clubs that would make a difference to me would be the ones requiring some sort of touch and feel (Putter & chipping clubs) Had some nasty hire clubs in Majorca and still managed to shoot 71. It was only the putter that felt completely awful, all chips were bumble & runs because of the lack of feel I had with them.

Putting both my feet in a big slipper and zipping it up would help keep my feet warm but I ain't going to do that either!

trouble to beat 120, my pal is left handed :D :D :D

Same here, 2 of my regular group are left handed and the other one plays off 8 with an old set of blades. If I had to swap I would have trouble finishing the first hole let alone a full round.

One of my partners has a very slow swing and uses a whippy ladies shaft in his driver. I tried it once and nearly took my left knee off. I missed my fairway, as well as the one next to it. Put me down for a NR.
