What do we think of this?

There's a time and place for autographs. If he had stopped to sign that fat kids book then it would open the flood gates for future morons to think it's ok to jump inside the ropes for an autograph

I really dont see the issue, kid shouldnt have been there

Don't think there is an issue at all - it's people more than likely trying to detract away from Rory winning the Open.

Poulter has just tweeted that they are told not to sign autographs until the cards are signed and in so only following the rules in any event.

Non story as mentioned above great to watch today

A couple of seconds gets blown out of all proportion

Did he have somebody evicted during his round today - what was that about

Mentioning MU was not the best idea - he did try to rescue it immediately though

No we won't.

He hadn't even signed his card and by the looks of it the kid was in a place he shouldn't have been.

Rory was 100% correct in ignoring him.
Agreed , and i'm not a big Rory fan but the kid should not have been allowed to run in like he did , and we can't hear what was said.

This thread has been too 'On Subject' for my liking. So that it can hold up with other notable ones that zig and zag around the subject, I would like to introduce a slightly different viewpoint:

Has anyone else noticed how Sergio could be a twin to Karl Pilkington? Maybe they were separated at birth!

A wee bit but a bit more similar to Adam Sandler and can have the temper of Happy Gilmore.

This is the best "article" I've seen on it.

I particularly like these two parts.

McIlroy, 25, was widely described as ‘worse than Hitler’ by the internet following his carefully calculated decision not to award a young fan with an autograph, was said to be close to being stripped of his title yesterday.

Fans of inexplicable hatred for people they’ve never met were said to be disappointed the child was not from a more useful place such a Gaza, Iraq or Syria.

My son stopped Rory for an autograph at the BMW last year, he was happy to stop for a photo too. Top man and not just because he's Irish!
