What do we think of this?

No we won't.

He hadn't even signed his card and by the looks of it the kid was in a place he shouldn't have been.

Rory was 100% correct in ignoring him.

Agree completely.
Where did he push this kid?
So much for the big lump of security surrounding him, surely he shouldn't being
getting this close, thats what the security for.
This could of easily been some nutter.

Bloody scallies :D

Nothing in it, he hardly pushed him away it was more the security that did that. He brushed his arm past the kid. He shouldn't have been there and as Rory was going to sign his card that is first priority. What if he had signed for the kid lost his concentration and signed for a wrong score. Then he would have been DQ'd and all the hard work would have been for nothing.

And as for the get these guys out of here, how do you know it wasn't a case of get his friends out to the house and get the party started. Chances are it's just been pick up wrong and as others have said trying to lessen his achievement.

Non story and I am far from a big Rory fan.

If there are any stories about the crowd, it should be about the apparent abuse given to Rory and Sergio while playing and the fans running across greens and fairways once play had finished on them in the rush to get to the closing groups

since when has it been ok to have gangs of begging kids lining the ropes when players have finished shouting for balls gloves etc etc, thought this game was a gentleman's (and ladies of course) but its getting like a football crowd, manners maketh the man, some of the guttersnipes need a lesson in decorum.

A few of the leading guys were begged by kids all the way round. The likes of Fowler dealt with it better by pretending to read his yardage books while fast marching to the next teebox.

Having seen him do the same on the Pro-am Wednesday of the Irish Open at Portrush I am not surprised he did it on the way to the scoring hut just after winning The Open. I think that when he's playing and preparing he tries to focus on the task at hand and can come across poorly to the fans. Many of the other pros I saw that week where similar.

Now if he had the way with the crowd that GMac, Harrington and Simon Dyson had combined with his talent then opinions of him would probably be less divided.

 This forum is great... We have threads lasting days involving a player spitting but Rory pushing a young lad out of the way is ignored

Are you bedding down under your Tiger theme duvet cover tonight love? Or are you so cross that you have banished it to the airing cupboard and are now crayoning insults on your limited edition TW slippers?
