Question: what moves first in weight wise ? I'm thinking my left knee should drop and my left shoulder should follow Is this correct ? Also if you saw my last video then p,ease ignore it as I'm now not over swinging, I've got less leg movement on the backswing and I'm on the correct plane. Most of the time anyway
( my pro says its a perfect backswing and I get back to the ball great I just need to work on my weight to get good power)

Thanks in advance

Yep, I've completed the back swing and ready to start my downswing but when I watch slow motion videos there chest is facing the target before they hit the ball. What makes you get in the position ?

If their chest is facing the target before they hit the ball, I would say their arms have gotten stuck behind and they're in trouble.

Check out this swing

If you freeze the clip at circa 12-13 seconds it's not his chest facing the target it's his hips. His chest is still over the ball.

Same with Charlie Wi.

Different swing patterns, similar impact positions.

The left hip gets over the left knee... but it doesn't happen on the downswing - weightshift begins on the backswing....

note the tree to the right of the left hip.... see where the left hip gets to by the time the backswing is complete... and he bombs it!

From this position the left knee then begins the rotation on the downswing and the hips follow.
