Vokey Wedges

I may have missed the point here...

I demo'd a 60 vokey spin milled wedge last week and loved it. £69.99 from AG. Jan GM has the new 09 model vokeys at around £30 more.

It would seem that the only difference is that there are more bounce options available?

Am I missing the point, as a 20(ish) handicap who only really gets spin when I really get it right, do these new clubs justify the extra spend?

No you are spot on. The 09 just gives you more options dependant on the type of course you play

Think they have differnt sole grinds on the 09 and can get spin milled wedges right down to 48 degree instead of only 54 degree,so loads more cut up balls,in my wedge set up my 52 is the 200 series vokey the rest spin milled,anyway cant see anyone selling them for 90+ most prob 79.99 same as what i payed for mine a couple of years ago

I use standard non spin milled versions, 52 and 58. In fact I bought a SM version and I sold it after a few hits. I think the standard 200 series wedges are more consistent IMO.
