no they dont. well, sky bet and betfred dont.

I think you'll find that if they're MORE than 6 players finish in the top 6 places your stake will be reduced accordingly.

I think there's a chance he can make it if the start is delayed or something like that. Seems unlikely.

It only happens if more than one player ties for the last place that that particular bookmaker is paying places on. For example if 2 people finished tied for 8th you'd only get paid out based on half your stake.

This is why I don't think it's worth backing a 20/1 shot each way. It's already 1/5 odds and if there's a tie for the lower places it gets divided even more. You probably want to go at least 50/1 and upwards for each way bets.
