Like racket abuse in tennis ,kicking the ball away in footy.
They need to stamp it out.

Not a great example for the young players learning the game.

At the end of the day there is potential for them to damage the club which does more harm to them

I really don’t think it would, a few PGA tour players have smashed them over the years, I’d prefer that to Wyndham Clarke’s club throw into the advertising.

Yeah there is no doubt this rain is going to have a big affect - it’s going to be level or +1 to win

If you saw a junior at your club do that would you have a word or ignore it?

It’s professional sports - sometimes they get angry , it happens , very rarely but it happens

We don’t need to sanitise the sport

saying things like “it needs to be stopped” suggests that it’s happening every week and kids are copying it

If it was a regular occurrence then something would be done

There is more danger of them damaging their club which will have a bigger affect than anything else

Don’t need to be throwing shot penalties everytime someone does something you don’t like

I think it does need to be stopped.

One week a player smashes his driver through the advertising hoardings nearly hitting a marshal.
Then he’s wrecking the Oakmont changing room.

Pros have been reacting in the clubhouse for decades , they pay the damage

Even the likes of Jack Nicklaus smacked his club against a locker
