I've always found her weirdly monologue style of talking a wee bit irritating but I've done her a disservice (without being grammar police...Lancashire).

Not really. The first series is far superior to the other two.

Still terrible acting from the kids but hilarious from the adults

Ah… I thought I’d missed a new series then. Ha, I watched this back when it was released. Awful storylines, cheesy and below par acting performances. I absolutely love it!

Very much enjoyed the first episode of the last of us.

Is this solely a.zombie thing ?
Can't say I'm a great fan of those types of series/movies.
Rotten tomatoes is giving it a 98%score so essentially a must watch.

Not really, it’s more about the journey the characters make, the “zombies” are more like mutants iirc and come in various forms.

The zombies (not really zombies, fungus based not reanimated dead) are more of a plot device than a focus of the series. Worth at least giving the first couple a go and see if it floats your boat.

Just happened across my first episode of Junior Bakeoff.

A beautifully toned show that is heartwarming, genuinely funny (thanks to Harry Hill as well as the contestants), innocent and life affirming.
