The next three are pretty much just more of the same, I thought as a new series it was just about ok. (It has been available on Britbox for a while)
I have not used Britbox for years is it's functionality good these days
A few years I tried to watch a film and there was no 'resume' option for viewing over a few days and fast forward was very unworkable.
He’s probably related to Angela LansburyI'm watching Grantchester (for my wife).
If anyone else watches it (for their wife), can you explain why the vicar plays an equal part in solving the crime every episode?

We watched it over a year ago. We thought it was good to start with, but I can’t remember whether it was series 2 or 3 that we gave up. Every episode was the same script with different medical problems.Tried watching The Good Doctor on Netflix.
I gave up after 3 episodes, but my wife has continued and is almost at the end of series 2.
It's only 5 series long, with 18 episodes per series. Too samey for me, but if you like Casualty you will probably like it.

It actually gets better through the series so do stick with it. I wasn't that sure for the first few episodes but was then pleasantly surprised. After putting it off for ages, I've finally started watching The Boys spin off, Gen V, so I can then (finally!) watch the last season of The Boys I've not watched before Season 5 in April.
Very good impressions after the first episode, so will try and binge through a good few episodes tonight
Interesting, I actually prefer that. I know what I'm getting, it delivers. The alternative is a show that starts going off on a tangent and forgets it's core theme. The Blacklist is a classic of that for me. Brilliant first few series and then started veering off into nonsense that I didn't care about, yes Elizabeth and your mother I'm talking about youWe watch FBI and that is just the same; crime happens, suspect identified & apprehended, spills the beans and perpertrator is then usually chased and caught, the end. I know thats the basis for most shows but it is so linear.
Have they released it on iPlayer already?Watched a few of the latest Death In Paradise series, pretty dull tbf.

Oh.. we watched all episodes/series of The Boys but didn't realise we were supposed to watch Gen V as well, so we never have. After putting it off for ages, I've finally started watching The Boys spin off, Gen V, so I can then (finally!) watch the last season of The Boys I've not watched before Season 5 in April.
