TV Series - What Are You Watching?

The next three are pretty much just more of the same, I thought as a new series it was just about ok. (It has been available on Britbox for a while)

I have not used Britbox for years is it's functionality good these days

A few years I tried to watch a film and there was no 'resume' option for viewing over a few days and fast forward was very unworkable.

Honestly, I don't know, I don't subscribe, I mentioned it as that is where it was available to view. I watched it via other means. ;)

Red Eye, I'm 4 in, 2 to go, so please bear this in mind before anyone replies

Why the heck don't they chuck the laptop out of the plane? I know you can't open the door but surely there is a hatch into the hold or equivalent. Balance the laptop on the landing gear, lower the landing gear, laptop flies out and explodes safely. Or can you not lower the landing gear above 20k ft? Is this a massive plot hole or would I be crashing the plane with my idea :ROFLMAO:

Any replies using the spoiler option please. We don't want to ruin it for others.

1923 S3 has been announced, best finish S2 .
Have to say they could easily have made a single series out of the first two by cutting out the nonsense but I guess they are after revenue

Tried watching The Good Doctor on Netflix.
I gave up after 3 episodes, but my wife has continued and is almost at the end of series 2.
It's only 5 series long, with 18 episodes per series. Too samey for me, but if you like Casualty you will probably like it.

We watched it over a year ago. We thought it was good to start with, but I can’t remember whether it was series 2 or 3 that we gave up. Every episode was the same script with different medical problems.

After putting it off for ages, I've finally started watching The Boys spin off, Gen V, so I can then (finally!) watch the last season of The Boys I've not watched before Season 5 in April.

Very good impressions after the first episode, so will try and binge through a good few episodes tonight

It actually gets better through the series so do stick with it. I wasn't that sure for the first few episodes but was then pleasantly surprised.

We watch FBI and that is just the same; crime happens, suspect identified & apprehended, spills the beans and perpertrator is then usually chased and caught, the end. I know thats the basis for most shows but it is so linear.
Interesting, I actually prefer that. I know what I'm getting, it delivers. The alternative is a show that starts going off on a tangent and forgets it's core theme. The Blacklist is a classic of that for me. Brilliant first few series and then started veering off into nonsense that I didn't care about, yes Elizabeth and your mother I'm talking about you 😠, and the cabal.........

Give me a predictable Death in Paradise any day 🤣

Oh.. we watched all episodes/series of The Boys but didn't realise we were supposed to watch Gen V as well, so we never have. 😬
