TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Very good stories but Dunbar was a bit wooden.

Thought we would give Trespasses a go on Channel 4. Liked the look of the cast and the plot.

And gave up after 10 minutes because I could barely understand a single word given the heavy Northern Irish accents. The entire cast may as well be talking Chinese.

Someone may have mentioned it previously but we are hooked on Portrait Artist of the Year, absolutely fascinating.

Can you get subtitles with a 'live' broadcast?
But we might try it on catch up if it's on and has subtitles.

All of his tv series go the same way. Good story, decent build up, terrible endings. Every time. I've stopped watching them, they always make me grumpy by the end.

Are the books better? Do his books end in a better way?

I’d like to endorse this post. Watched the last episode last night and thought it was bloody stupid. A twist too far.

Finally finished watching “ The Terminal list Dark Wolf”

Unusual for me to take so long to watch a streaming series but just found it all a bit “meh”. Didn’t flow as well as the original and story just didn’t flow. Only completed it as I hate leaving things unfinished.

They are on most foreign language 'live' programs but this is supposed to be in English albeit with an Irish accent

Finally finished watching “ The Terminal list Dark Wolf”

The first was excellent,not even sure if I’ll finish Dark wolf.

Not you at all. Like I said I only finished it out of habit but it was a struggle. Jack Carr rights excellent books and Terminal list was so well put together when they brought it to TV.

This just felt like a few ideas that had been thrown together and hoping it would be blockbuster! It wasn’t it was very drab, poorly executed and don’t get me started on the 9MM H&K rifles that fired 100rounds before a reload, very poor attention to detail.

I’ll be honest, aside from wanting to cling to my youth, on the occasions I’ve seen stuff with subtitling it has driven me nuts. I just find it a real distraction.
